[Ynet News] Ali Waked - 19 female Palestinian security prisoners were released Friday in exchange for a two-minute videotape of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in a deal brokered between Israel and Hamas. The prisoners were received with victory songs played over a loudspeaker system and Palestinian Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is to greet the released prisoners at his office in Ramallah. 14 of the released prisoners had been convicted of attempted murder.
