[Jerusalem Post] Israel knows where kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit is being held and Hamas is aware of this, a senior Jerusalem official told the London-based Asharq Alawsat on Sunday. Israel has avoided carrying out a rescue operation in order to prevent Shalit from being harmed, the official said.
