(AP) Ian Deitch and Suzan Fraser - Israel and Turkey had smoothed over differences and were working to develop relations and further military projects, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Sunday after daylong talks with Turkish officials. Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul called Israel a "neighbor" and "strategic ally" with which Turkey had common interests in the region.
