(AP/Washington Post) Turkey's Anatolia news agency says Turkish police have rounded up 120 people in 16 provinces suspected of ties to the al-Qaeda terror network. Those detained include a university faculty member suspected of recruiting students and sending them to Afghanistan for training. Homegrown Islamic militants tied to al-Qaeda carried out suicide bombings in Istanbul in 2003, killing 58 people.
