(Fars-Iran) Iran's Islamic revolution has been a source of inspiration for the Muslim nations, ushering the region into a new era of Islamism where an Islamic Middle East is being formed, Maj.-Gen. Yahya Rahim Safavi, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei's senior military advisor, said Wednesday. "What is now being formed is an Islamic Middle East, not an American Middle East," he said. Formation of an Islamic Middle East is the result of the Islamic revolution in Iran, he stressed.
