(Washington Post) Nelson Hernandez and Saad Sarhan - More than 140 people were killed in attacks Thursday in Iraq, including a bomb blast at a police recruiting station in Ramadi that killed at least 80 Sunni Arabs and a suicide bombing in Karbala that killed 54. Five American soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb in Baghdad. On Wednesday, insurgents killed 42 people at a funeral in Muqdadiyah.
