(Financial Times-UK) Demetri Sevastopulo and Peter Spiegel - U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Friday expressed concerns about Russian arms sales but dismissed concerns that the U.S.-Russian defense relationship was deteriorating. "The U.S. prefers that countries not sell weapons to countries on the terrorist list," Rumsfeld said, adding that he was particularly concerned about arms sales to countries such as Iran and Syria that the U.S. says are supporting the insurgency in Iraq.
