(New York Times) - "I do believe that Abu Mazen made a good start in what he said, which is that there really is no route to a Palestinian state through violence. And that means that he is appealing, to my mind correctly, to those Palestinians who realize that the use of terror techniques, the use of violence is not going to result in the fulfillment of their national aspirations. Having said that, the people who insist on violence and insist on terrorism have got to be isolated and ultimately disarmed."
