(Los Angeles Times) Ken Ellingwood - Palestinians in Gaza have fired Kassam rockets into Sderot so often during the last four years, occasionally with deadly results, that nearly everyone has a story about a near miss. The community has seen more than 410 attacks since 2001, according to military sources. Residents stay indoors as much as they can and soothe their children when the town's warning system blares.
