(AFX News/Forbes) James Wolfensohn, the international envoy to the Middle East, said he was "optimistic" about the progress made on the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, noting the process had now moved on to "deal with real issues." "The Israelis and the Palestinians are now very much engaged on very practical aspects of withdrawal and dealing with the crossing points of Gaza and the West Bank (and) the linkage between the Palestinian territories, the outside world, and Israel," Wolfensohn said.
