(Ha'aretz) Sgt. Maj. Jan Rotzanski, 21, was killed while clearing a minefield planted by Hizballah that was discovered two weeks ago. Prime Minister Sharon's adviser, Dore Gold, said "the Hizballah attack on the IDF position illustrates the duplicity of the Syrian regime, which talks peace to the New York Times and backs Hizballah attacks in violation of UN resolutions."
