(Washington Post) - A series of coordinated blasts struck major Shiite Muslim shrines in Baghdad and Karbala Tuesday, killing more than 100, including 30 in Karbala and at least 75 in Baghdad. The attacks occurred during the Ashoura festival, which draws hundreds of thousands of Shiite pilgrims to the Iraqi shrines.
