(Bloomberg) Al-Qaeda remains intent on obtaining and using anthrax and other chemical or biological weapons against the U.S., CIA Director George Tenet told the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday. He cited additional threats that have arisen from smaller Sunni Muslim extremist groups like al-Zarqawi, Ansar al-Islam, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.
