(CNN) Russia and China vetoed a UN Security Council draft resolution condemning Syria on Saturday which had been supported by the U.S., France, and the UK. Thirteen Security Council members voted in favor of the resolution. U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice told CNN. "The people of Syria have yet again been abandoned by this Council and by the international community."
