(AFP) Egyptian state television anchorwoman Fatma Nabil appeared on Sunday's Channel 1 midday broadcast wearing a scarf or hijab covering the hair and neck. Until the revolution that toppled president Mubarak last year and brought the Muslim Brotherhood to power, women in Islamic headscarves had been kept out of the media, although most Muslim women in Egypt wear the hijab.
