(Hindustan Times) Deputy prime minister Ehud Olmert will head a delegation of more than 100 representatives of Israeli companies on a four-day visit to India from December 6. Bilateral trade crossed $1.6 billion in September 2004 and is expected to reach $2 billion by the end of December. A bilateral agreement establishing a $10 million joint industrial research and development fund is seen by Jerusalem as seed money for triggering vast sums of private venture capital investment for a range of joint development projects.
