(New York Times) Editorial - Abbas, who is the chairman of the PLO, says that he has ordered the government-controlled media to stop broadcasting material that could incite hatred against Israel. If Abbas's directive is actually followed, that means no more fiery broadcasts praising the killing of Jews. There's a lot more the Palestinians have to do to get serious about stopping the suicide bombings and other attacks, but that would be a start.
