According to a web site promoting the country of some 240,000 people, Belize Prime Minister Said Musa is "a British-educated lawyer of Palestinian and Belizean heritage." At the Durban conference in 2000, Belize was among the most vociferous of the non-Muslim countries blasting Israel.
