(Telegraph-UK) Edward Luttwak - As for the anxieties of some Western military analysts, one corrective is sadly on view almost every day in the Gaza fighting between Israeli troops and far greater numbers of armed Palestinians, many of them with far more experience in combat than Iraqi soldiers. Because of their thorough training, the Israelis suffer very few casualties, despite having to operate in narrow streets and alleys without as free a use of their firepower advantage as U.S. and British troops would have in Baghdad.
