(Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs) - Bjarte Bruland and Irene Levin Norway's small Jewish community made a courageous - but little-known - public stand by disagreeing with a government-appointed commission of inquiry into post-war restitution. The community's representatives presented a comprehensive alternative report which was subsequently adopted by the Norwegian government and parliament.
