(Reuters/New York Times)- The U.S. military last week took into custody an Iraqi intelligence official, Ahmad Khalil Ibrahim Samir al-Ani, who is reported to have met Mohamed Atta, the ringleader of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers, just months before the attacks, a U.S. official said Tuesday.
