Women Called Mid-East's Untapped Resource

(New York Times) Elizabeth Olson - The World Bank said Tuesday that women remain a "huge, untapped" economic resource in the Middle East and North Africa. While in some countries women comprise as much as 63% of university students, they are only 32% of the labor force, according to the report, "Gender and Development in the Middle East and North Africa: Women in the Public Sphere."
