(Beirut Daily Star) Fahed Fanek - President Bush's Middle East policy speech turned Yasser Arafat into an impediment to the Palestinian people's cause. There will be no solution, no talks, no state, and no aid, while he remains president of the Palestinian Authority (PA). So we will no longer hear any Arab regimes defending Arafat's survival; none of them want to bet on a horse that has no future.
