(Telegraph-UK) Inna Lazareva - A five-year-old Syrian boy and his father were in their living room at home in southern Syria when a gunfight erupted outside. A stray bullet hit the boy in the face. "I decided to run to the border and try and save his life, because everyone knows there is [an Israeli] field hospital there," the father said. Doctors in Haifa managed to remove a bullet from the child's neck, situated millimeters from the main blood vessels. The boy cannot be identified due to fears his life will be in danger if it is discovered he has been treated in Israel.
