(Politico) Mehdi Khalaji - With reports surfacing about the deteriorating health of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, there are many signs that the next supreme leader is going to be even more of a hard-liner and would be in a position to renege on any pact with the West. Given the current makeup of the Assembly of Experts, the body which chooses the supreme leader, it would certainly choose a hardliner who might be even more aggressive on foreign policy than Khamenei.
