[Financial Times-UK] Najmeh Bozorgmehrin - Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, has appointed a new commander for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Mohammad-Ali Jafari, 50, commanded the guards' land forces for 13 years and headed its strategic center for the past three years.
