(AFP-Defense News) A dozen French air force fighter planes launched from the United Arab Emirates and Jordan fired Scalp cruise missiles at Islamic State targets in Iraq on Tuesday, the French defense ministry said. French President Francois Hollande declared his country at war with Islamic State after the group carried out attacks in Paris last month that killed 130 people.
