Iraqi Shia Cleric Muqtada al-Sadr Calls to "Liberate Jerusalem" in Response to U.S. Embassy Move

(Kurdistan24) Iraqi Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr on Tuesday called the transfer of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem "an explicit declaration of war against Islam." He said that if the U.S. embassy is moved, he "will call for the creation of a special military force to liberate al-Quds [Jerusalem]."
