(Ha'aretz) Ora Coren and Gili Cohen - Israeli military exports grew to $6.5 billion in 2016, an increase of $800 million over 2015, according to the military exports unit of the Defense Ministry. Unit chief Michel Ben-Baruch noted that while Asia remains Israel's biggest military market, Europe has become a key buyer for counterterrorism, border defense and infiltration prevention technologies.
