It can evade advanced missile defenses like Iran's Russian-made S-300 system. Former Israel Air Force chief Maj.-Gen. (res.) Amir Eshel said that Israel gathered new intelligence during a single flight by an F-35 earlier this year that other reconnaissance systems would take weeks to gather.
