(Daily Mail-UK) Joe Sheppard - The main explosive charge of the device that went off in a London subway on Friday at Parsons Green failed to detonate, said former Metropolitan counter-terrorism detective David Videcette, who investigated the 7/7 bombings. He said the bomb is larger than those that went off in the 2005 attacks. "Had it gone off successfully it would have caused a huge loss of life. Whoever built this was not an amateur - it has many of the hallmarks of devices used by terror groups."
