(AFP-Daily Mail-UK) Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was the first foreign leader to hold one-to-one talks with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Netanyahu thanked Trump for U.S. support for Israel, and said he wanted to focus on the Iranian threat and Tehran's growing clout in Syria, as well as the "opportunity for peace between Israel and the Palestinians and between Israel and the Arab world."
