(M-Live-Michigan) Martin Slagter - The University of Michigan's Board of Regents on Thursday declined to form a committee to investigate divesting the university's endowment from certain companies alleged to commit human rights violations against Palestinians. Six of the eight Board of Regents members signed a joint statement Thursday noting that they strongly opposed any action involving the boycott, divestment or sanction of Israel.
