(Guardian-UK) Pippa Crerar - British Prime Minister Theresa May joined U.S. President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday in warning that they would respond to the Syrian gas attack in order to uphold the global ban on the use of chemical weapons. In separate phone calls, the three allies agreed to make sure that the Syrian regime, and its backers, were held to account.
