(Jerusalem Post) Caroline B. Glick - U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton said regarding U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, "there's no change in the U.S. position for now." In a conversation with this writer on Wednesday in Jerusalem, Bolton emphasized that he had said, "for now." His clarification was not a diplomatic feint. Unlike his predecessors in the White House, but like Bolton, Trump relates to Israel as a key U.S. ally and partner. Trump and his advisors are willing to listen to Israel's positions objectively. They don't assume, as many of their predecessors did, that their Israeli counterparts are hustling them. When Bolton says the U.S. hasn't changed its policy, he's inviting Israel to make its case.
