(New York Times) Vivian Yee and Hwaida Saad - Lebanon's newly formed government gave the Islamist movement Hizbullah key posts, including the Ministry of Health, which has the fourth-largest budget in the government. American officials are concerned Hizbullah will use the ministry to provide state-subsidized health care and patronage jobs to its supporters and possibly even its fighters. "We call on the new government to ensure the resources and services of these ministries do not provide support to Hizbullah," State Department spokesman Robert Palladino said on Friday.
