(JTA-Telegraph-UK) Cnaan Liphshiz - Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Conservative Party has defeated Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party by a large margin in Britain's general elections on Thursday. Labour was left with its fewest number of seats since 1935. Many British Jews have said the elections are particularly fateful for them because they believe that the Labour Party has become institutionally anti-Semitic under Jeremy Corbyn, who was elected to lead the party in 2015. The Labour Against Antisemitism group has documented thousands of cases of anti-Semitic hate speech by members since 2015.
