(Times of Israel) Judah Ari Gross - The IDF conducted a series of airstrikes on Syrian military targets on Monday night in response to a bomb-planting incident that was thwarted on Sunday on the border in the Golan Heights. The IDF bombed Syrian observation posts, intelligence-gathering equipment, anti-aircraft cannons, and command-and-control infrastructure. Ha'aretz reported that Israel believes an Iranian proxy militia was responsible for the attempted attack. Troops who searched the area of Sunday's attack found a gun, as well as a backpack with several bombs, ready for use.
