(Al Jazeera) Amnesty International on Tuesday accused Iran of using torture to extract confessions, saying hundreds of people have been jailed since a crackdown against protests last year. Amnesty gathered dozens of testimonies from the 7,000 people it estimated were arrested, which included children as young as 10. The accounts reveal "a catalogue of shocking human rights violations, including arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance, torture and other ill-treatment."
