(Reuters-Trend-Azerbaijan) The Iranian rial has fallen to a new low against the U.S. dollar. On Oct. 19, on the black market, $1 is worth about 316,000-319,000 rials. The currency has lost nearly 60% of its value in 2020 as a drop in oil prices has deepened the economic crisis in a country which has the highest Covid-19 death toll in the Middle East.
