(The National-Abu Dhabi) Nada Al-Taher - Palestinian anti-corruption activist Fadi Elsalameen told The National that the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, linked to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' ruling Fatah party, threatened to kill him when he traveled to Hebron in March to visit his family. Elsalameen, a U.S. citizen, is a non-resident fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Former U.S. State Department Middle East adviser Aaron David Miller called on the U.S. government to ensure Elsalameen's safety.
