(Wall Street Journal) Ian Talley - The Biden administration lifted sanctions on three former Iranian officials and several energy companies amid stalled nuclear negotiations, signaling Washington's willingness to further ease economic pressure on Iran if the country changes course. The administration said the officials were removed from U.S. blacklists because they no longer held positions in the sanctioned entities. But officials familiar with talks underway in Vienna said the Biden administration has been looking at how it could inject momentum into the negotiations.
