Saudi Arabia Launches New Airline

(Washington Post) Bryan Pietsch - Saudi Arabia will launch another state-owned airline, Riyadh Air, which aims to fly to 100 destinations by 2030. The carrier faces steep competition, including from the other state-owned airline, Saudia, formerly known as Saudi Arabian Airlines - as well as from the UAE's Emirates airline and Etihad Airways, and state-owned Qatar Airways.
