(ABC News) Luis Martinez - The USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier strike group will leave the eastern Mediterranean Sea in the "coming days," two U.S. officials tell ABC News. It was sent there just after the start of the Israel-Hamas war in October to deter Hizbullah in Lebanon and Iran from broadening the conflict. The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower carrier strike group remains deployed in the Gulf of Aden east of Yemen.
