(Jerusalem Post) Tovah Lazaroff - The UN Security Council debated, but did not condemn, Iran's missile and drone attack against Israel on Sunday, as the U.S. and Israel called on it to do so. "The Security Council must unequivocally condemn Iran's aggressive actions and call for Iran and its partners and proxies to cease their attacks," U.S. Ambassador Robert Wood told the special session. Israel's Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan noted that a Bedouin Israeli girl, age 7, was seriously wounded in the attack. He held up a video of the Iranian missiles above the al-Aqsa Mosque compound and said, "To Iran, Israel's annihilation and igniting the region is more important than Islamic holy sites."
