(New York Times) Liam Stack - Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya, Yahya Sinwar's deputy, vowed on Friday that Hamas would fight on, after Israel announced Sinwar's death on Thursday. Al-Hayya, who lives in Qatar, said Hamas maintained its conditions for a ceasefire. He demanded that Israel end its operations in Gaza, withdraw completely, and release Palestinian prisoners in Israel.
