Israel has defined its aim as the crippling of Hamas' ability to send rockets into Israel. On Monday, Hamas fired more than 70 rockets at Israel and has killed a total of four Israelis since Saturday. At Shifa Hospital in Gaza, armed Hamas militants in civilian clothes shot six suspected collaborators with Israel in 24 hours.
