(Jerusalem Post) Melissa Radler - An overwhelming majority of Americans oppose sending $213m. in annual aid to the West Bank and Gaza Strip, a new poll found. In a survey of 1,000 Americans conducted on July 14-15 by McLaughlin Associates, 74% said they oppose the Bush administration's annual aid package to the Palestinians, while just 10% said they support it. The poll also found that 77% of Americans oppose the idea of stationing U.S. troops in the West Bank and Gaza, while 13% support it.
