The Israeli missile strike on a Hamas training ground and other military pressure "have a cumulative effect that makes it harder for them to carry out attacks. They have to worry about their own safety and to keep switching places. People become less willing to cooperate with them." Palestinian journalist Said Ghazali noted, "Militarily they are weaker and cannot respond immediately. They have big words but cannot do a lot of deeds."
