[Washington Post] Alia Ibrahim - Hizbullah and its political allies on Tuesday blocked the election of a new president in Lebanon by boycotting parliament. According to the Lebanese constitution, 85 members of parliament are required for a quorum to choose a president, but because of a boycott led by Hizbullah, only 75 lawmakers attended Tuesday's session.
